How many acres can it spray in an hour?

The DJI AGRAS T100 can spray up to 55 acres/hr at a 2 gallons per acre application rate. 

What about dry spreading?

The DJI AGRAS T100 has a 39.6-gallon dry tank designed to hold up to 220 lbs and it has a max spreading swath width of 33 ft.

How many refills are necessary per hour?

At an application rate of 2 gallons per acre, you can expect 6-8 refills per hour.

What is the swath width when spraying with the DJI AGRAS T100?

The DJI AGRAS T100 has a max swath width of 42 ft.

How large is the tank on the DJI AGRAS T100?

The AGRAS T100 comes with a 26.4-gallon spray tank. It's dry spreading tank has 39.6 gallons of volume and is able to carry up to 220 lbs.

How long does the batteries last?

Batteries will last about 8-10 minutes. We recommend swapping batteries every time the drone comes back for a refill. 3 batteries ensure you have continuous operations.

What kind of generator do I need for operations?

Any 14,000 running watt generator should be enough to get started with 50 amp plugs. Our recommendation is the DJI 14000iE Multifunctional Inverter generator or similar.

What kind of licenses do I need to operate a sprayer drone?

You'll need:

- FAA Part 107 - Drone Pilot's License

- FAA Part 137 - Aerial Applicator's License

- Section 44807 Exemption - Exemption to operate drones over 55lbs.

- State Applicator's License (may use the same one you may already have)

- FAA 3rd Class Medical (for night flying)

Can I operate multiple drones at the same time?

Yes, you can. However, to do so you'll need to get a permission from the FAA allowing you to swarm (Swarm exemption). Our compliance manager can petition for this and other exemptions for you.

How difficult is it to operate the DJI T100 Drone?

The DJI T100 drone is fully autonomous, meaning the operator only sets flight parameters and the drones fly and spray on their own. Most customers of ours learn how to operate in just one day with our training class (see below).

What comprises the training class?

We offer comprehensive, hands-on operations training, designed to get you comfortable and confident flying the drone in a full-day of instruction. Our trainers will travel to you, anywhere in the US.

How accurate is the GPS system?

The DJI AGRAS T100 use over 28 different satellite sources to ensure inch-level accuracy.

How to obstacles (trees, poles, etc) affect the operation of the DJI AGRAS T100?

The DJI AGRAS T100's obstacle avoidance system has improved 80% over its predecessor. With LiDAR and its penta-vision camera system, the drone is capable of bypassing any sort of obstacle smoothly.

Where can I get parts or get my drone serviced?

AckerSpray offers overnighting shipping of spare parts to anywhere in the US. Most repairs can be done by the customer, though you can also have us repair your drone for you.
