The T60X can spray up to 55 acres/hr at a 2 gallons per acre application rate.
What about dry spreading?
The T60X has a 21.1 gal dry tank designed to hold up to 132 lbs and it has a max spreading swath width of 26 ft.
How many refills are necessary per hour?
At an application rate of 2 gallons per acre, you can expect 6-8 refills per hour.
What is the swath width when spraying with the T60X Spray Drone?
The T60X has a max swath width of 36 ft.
How large is the tank on the T60X?
The T60X comes with a 13.2 gal spray tank that is upgradable to 15.9 gal. It's dry spreading tank can carry 132lbs at a 21.1 gal volume.
How long does the batteries last?
Batteries will last about 8-10 minutes. We recommend swapping batteries every time the drone comes back for a refill. 3 batteries ensure you have continuous operations.
What kind of generator do I need for operations?
Any 14,000 running watt generator should be enough to get started with 50 amp plugs. Our recommendation is the T60X 14000W All-In-One Generator and Charger or similar.
What kind of licenses do I need to operate a sprayer drone?
You'll need:
- FAA Part 107 - Drone Pilot's License
- FAA Part 137 - Aerial Applicator's License
- Section 44807 Exemption - Exemption to operate drones over 55lbs.
- State Applicator's License (may use the same one you may already have)
- FAA 3rd Class Medical (for night flying)

Can I operate multiple drones at the same time?
Yes, you can. However, to do so you'll need to get a permission from the FAA allowing you to swarm (Swarm exemption). Our compliance manager can petition for this and other exemptions for you.
How difficult is it to operate theT60X Spray Drone?
The T60X spray drone is fully autonomous, meaning the operator only sets flight parameters and the drones fly and spray on their own. Most customers of ours learn how to operate in just one day with our training class (see below).
What comprises the training class?
We offer comprehensive, hands-on operations training, designed to get you comfortable and confident flying the drone in a full-day of instruction. Our trainers will travel to you, anywhere in the US.
How accurate is the GPS system?
The T60X spray drone use over 20 different satellite sources to ensure inch-level accuracy.
How to obstacles (trees, poles, etc) affect the operation of the T60X Drone?
T60X's obstacle avoidance feature is powered by its large radars on the front and back, ensuring bypassing of trees, irrigation pivots, electric poles and more with ease.
Where can I get parts or get my drone serviced?
AckerSpray offers overnighting shipping of spare parts to anywhere in the US. Most repairs can be done by the customer, though you can also have us repair your drone for you.
